Typhus Fever in Peru: A Study of Epidemiology by Means of Complement-Fixation

Gustave Freeman1, Fernando Castillo Sologuren2 AND Hugo Espinosa3

Typhus fever in Peru appears to be exclusively classic in type. The complement-fixing titer tends to fall after approximately six months but may be persistent for many years.
