The authors and the publisher of this book are to be congratulated on the size, paper, type and the illustrations. The book will be easier to handle and care for by the librarian and student. It is abundantly and beautifully illustrated.

The case-history method of teaching the subject is to be commended. It is a difficult job to reduce the entire subject of pathology to the contents of this text but it does include the essentials in a practical manner. It is pleasing to note that parasitic infestations have been given more than the usual space. Transportation developments have so reduced the size of the world and produced so much interchange between the peoples of the tropics and temperate zones that a physician in any part of the world must now be prepared to diagnose and treat diseases common to any climatic zone.
