Intraperitoneal mouse protection tests were run on 4,047 blood samples collected in 85 localities in Central America, Mexico, and Panama. The survey showed that during recent years endemic yellow fever has been restricted to Eastern Panama, where it approaches to within fifty miles of the Canal Zone.
