We believe this was a man with poor background, severe allergy, nutritional imbalance, definite deficiency disease, and tuberculosis and it is the combination of these, together with his therapy, which have resulted in this peculiar repair process in tuberculous foci. It is to be remembered that a person allergic to protein may also be allergic to the tubercle bacillus and such an individual may in a tissue sense respond to infection with an unusual and peculiar cytological sequence.
