The Sixteenth Edition of this popular and valuable pocket Medical Dictionary gives brief, but adequate, definitions of over 50,000 technical terms and has been increased by the addition of over 2,500 new words, embracing new terms employed in allergy, dietetics, materia-medica, physical therapy, psychiatry and endocrinology. The Table of Doses has been brought up to date and there are many other valuable Tables contained in the work.

The reviewer has had occassion to refer to this dictionary frequently and has found that it is reliable and up to date. He has no hesitation in recommending it to medical students and practitioners as a handy and accurate medical dictionary.
