1. Mango dermatits is defined. 2. The mango is an important fruit in the tropics and its growth and consumption in the United States is increasing. 3. It has an interesting historical background. 4. The tree is an evergreen furnishing shade and beauty as well as a delicious fruit. 5. Mango and Rhus belong to the same botanical family, Anacardiaceae. 6. The writer concludes from the many reports received from all parts of the tropical world that Mango dermatitis does occur. 7. Contact with the peel, stem or sap from the tree may produce mango poisoning in a susceptible individual.
