Transactions of the American Society of Tropical Medicine, Thirty-Second Annual Meeting

Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, in Conjunction with the National Malaria Committee and the American Academy of Tropical Medicine, as Guests of the Southern Medical Association, November 18, 19 and 20, 1936

The first session of the Society was called to order at 9 a.m., Wednesday, November 18, in the Fifth Regiment Armory, by President Henry E. Meleney. The program of papers follows.

1. E. Harold Hinman and R. H. Kampmeier, New Orleans, La. "Amebic dysentery: A clinical study of 400 cases from Charity Hospital." Discussed by Col. Craig, Dr. Levine, Dr. LeBlanc and Dr. Hinman.
2. M. Paulson and Justin Andrews, Baltimore, Md. "A comparative study of complement-fixation in amoebiasis." Discussed by Dr. Meleney, Col. Craig, Dr. Magath and Dr. Paulson.
3. Joseph S. D'Antoni, New Orleans, La. "Standardization of the iodine stain for wet preparations of intestinal protozoa." Discussed by Dr. Meleney and the author.
4. The First Charles Franklin Craig Lecture on Tropical Medicine: Dr. Ernest Muir, London, England, General and Medical Secretary of the British Empire Leprosy Relief Association, and the Honorary Secretary-Treasurer of the International Leprosy Association; guest to the United States of the Leonard Wood Leprosy Foundation.
