Résumé: Precipitin tests to determine the source of the blood meal in certain species of Venezuelan anopheles, show that albimanus feeds on human beings in large numbers, and is probably the most dangerous species usually found in the Lake Valencia region. A. bachmanni is also confirmed as a possible malaria carrier.
