General and Child Haematology

By W. M. FELDMAN. John Bale, Sons and Danielsson, Ltd., London, England, 1933, 96 pp.

L. C. Scott

Feldman's tiny volume is very unique in that it is a relatively comprehensive survey of an important subject in tabloid form. The book is divided into nine chapters and one appendix and considers within 86 pages all of the various points that are of clinical interest and others that the author has found, from his own experience, to be of value. It is written in a pleasing and easily readable form, with simplicity of language and with emphasis on important points. Clinical suggestions regarding treatment are interspersed with laboratory methods and discussions. No object can be gained by going into a more extensive discussion of the various treatments which the author considers, but briefly the book may be regarded as a useful one both for the student as well as the clinician.
