Virus Transmission Studies with Trinidadian Mosquitoes

Part II. Further Observations1

Evidence is presented that, with techniques of parenteral inoculation of virus followed by later feeding on susceptible chicks or mice, six species of Trinidadian mosquitoes transmitted Ilhéus virus, six species transmitted St. Louis virus and one species transmitted Mayaro virus.
